No. You do not need to arrive knowing the terminology or exactly which treatment to choose.
As part of your consultation, your stylist will assess your natural lashes, discuss the result you are looking for and guide you through the most suitable options in detail. Classic, Hybrid and Volume are simply different ways of creating the finished look, rather than decisions you need to make on your own before you arrive.
All three treatments lift and curl your natural lashes from the root, but they use different systems and offer slightly different benefits.
LUMABOND™ LED Lash Lift is UP®’s proprietary system, combining a tailored lash lift with targeted Japanese LED technology for enhanced longevity. Unlike our other lash lifts, your lashes can also get wet immediately after treatment, making LUMABOND™ particularly convenient for humid environments, holidays or when swimming is part of the plan.
Korean Lash Lift is an advanced lash lift treatment designed to create lift and curl directly from the lash root for a beautifully open and defined result.
Lash Lift + Tint also lifts and curls from the root, but uses a different formula that allows the treatment to be customised around your natural lashes and the finish you’re looking for, with long-lasting results.

As part of your treatment, we’ll guide you through cleansing, everyday care and maintenance between appointments. Keeping the lash line clean and treating your extensions gently are simple habits that support both retention and natural lash health over time.
Absolutely. Your lashes do not need to stay exactly the same from one appointment to the next.
We review your natural lashes and discuss how you are enjoying the result as part of your ongoing appointments. Length, curl, density and shape can then be refined over time — whether you would like to keep the look familiar, soften it, or make the result more impactful.
We have a range of vegan-friendly lash treatments and products, with slightly different certifications across the range.
Our lash extensions are synthetic, and the extensions and adhesives we use do not contain animal-derived ingredients and are cruelty free.
We also offer a range of dyes for lash and brow tinting. None contain animal-derived ingredients, and our most frequently used dye is actively Vegan Certified. If that certification is important to you, let your stylist know and we can select the appropriate option.
Our lash lift active ingredients are Vegan Friendly, are not tested on animals and use no raw materials derived or sourced from animals. Aftercare products from the same range are also Vegan Friendly and Cruelty Free.

Lash extensions are not inherently damaging. When they are applied conscientiously and cared for correctly, they can be worn long term without compromising the health of your natural lashes.
At UP®, length, weight, curl and density are selected around what each natural lash can comfortably support. Careful isolation, appropriate application and a sustainable design all form part of protecting the natural lash underneath, and your lashes are reviewed over time so the treatment can evolve with them.
There is also a small amount of straightforward home care involved. We’ll guide you through cleansing and maintenance so that you and your stylist are working together to support both the finished result and your natural lash health over time.
Yes. We regularly see clients who are concerned about the condition of their natural lashes following treatments received elsewhere, and this is something our team is very experienced in managing.
We’ll begin with a detailed assessment of your natural lashes and any extensions currently in place, discuss our findings with you and agree on the most appropriate way forward. Where needed, we can carefully remove existing extensions using our dedicated lash-extension removal service before creating a personalised lash-health plan.
In many cases, the next step is simply a more appropriate application — refining length, weight, density or placement so that existing stress is not continued while your natural lashes strengthen. Supportive home care, including products such as RevitaLash where appropriate, can also form part of that plan.
